News: Croft Electrical Engineering builds on nationwide contracts

By

Rotherham based Croft Electrical Engineering has secured multiple contracts worth £1.8m across the Yorkshire and South East regions.

A total of seven contracts have been won by the company, which will see Croft supply specialist electrical, fire and security systems.

Four of the contracts won by Croft are in the region, including Sheffield University to supply a complete rewire of the fire alarm system to three buildings across the city campus.

The electrical engineers will also complete work to create a brand new state of the art dance studio at the Mount St Mary's College, complete with new lighting and sound system for the students to enjoy.

Other contacts include completing electrical work for a new development of commercial projects and apartments in Mansfield, and also a big contract for NTL Rotherham which will also involve Croft completing electrical work within the property.

The recent success also includes Croft securing phase three of a five phase project for the document storage facility, Crown Records Management in Enfield.

Croft will complete work on providing an advanced fire detection system to protect the millions of files, tapes and discs, stored at Crown Records, in addition to automated surface mounted lighting which forms part of a remote building management system, allowing operators to constantly supervise the building's operations.

The other two contracts are for the South East region completing work on state of the art executive housing in Islington, and also electrical work for another document storage warehouse in Essex.

David Cocker, director of Croft Electrical Engineering said: "The recent contract successes are recognition of the hard work the team from across the sales office, to the people on site have put in over the past few months.

"Not only are we adding new customers to our client list, but we are also retaining our existing clients through maintaining strong relationships. I think that the reason why we have managed a high client retention rate is because of the wealth of experience we are able to offer through high technical capabilities providing high level service in a niche market."

Joining the Horbury Group of companies in 2008, Croft Electrical Engineering specialise services including planned maintenance, facilities management, fire alarm systems, security systems, data systems, power and lighting and access control.
