News: Chamber Means Business

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce is inviting local companies and organisations to an event next week that will show why they, and a host of local firms, mean business.

The Chamber Means Business event is a business-to-business exhibition taking place at Tankersley Manor Hotel on the September 11 between 9am and 4pm. Hosted by the Chamber it aims to celebrate the best of business in Barnsley and Rotherham and give delegates the chance to network with other Businesses from the region.

It follows on from successful similar events in Rotherham and Barnsley last year.

With the main sponsor as BT, the event is free to attend and the exhibition space is fully booked up with over 30 businesses and support organisations set to attend.

Workshops on various of topics will also be running throughout the day where delegates can hear from speakers representing the Chamber, BT, Oxley & Coward solicitors, The Source, The South Yorkshire International Trade Forum and Barnsley College.

A spokesperson from Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, said: "The exhibition has been months in the making and we have endeavoured to devise a format from which delegates will be able to get the maximum benefit. We felt it was crucial that this event was made accessible to as many businesses as possible of all types and sizes."
