After expanding its Rotherham premises, Neilson Hydraulics & Engineering is expanding online and investing in a new digital platform.
Neilson is a sales partner of Sauer-Danfoss; one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of mobile hydraulics and electrohydraulics and Bosch Rexroth Industrial Hydraulics; one of the world's leading specialists in the field of drive and control technologies.
The company has recently expanded its Catcliffe premises by acquiring an additional 3,000 sq ft unit, which features a new hydraulics and electronics assembly area, test rig, clean area, hydraulic and electrical service department.
Now Neilson has invested in an E-SHOP to sell hydraulic components online as the manufacturing industry starts to recognise the importance of B2B (Business-to-Business) E-commerce in the modern digital age.
Norman Opie, director of Neilson Hydraulics, said: "As we enter a digital age, it is essential to have a strong online presence. A lot of companies are now using the internet to source products, which is becoming a strong trend in our industry. Our E-SHOP allows customers to access hydraulic components 24/7, at their own convenience, during and outside office hours."
The Neilson Hydraulics E-SHOP will sell Bosch Rexroth and Danfoss hydraulic components online, including Bosch Rexroth Axial Piston Pumps, Vane Pumps, CETOP 3 & 5 Valves and Danfoss Hydraulic Motors and Proportional Valve PVG 32 Components. There is also a technical helpline for customers who require expert advice.
