Slowly landlord were seeing more credible tenants living in the area due to the close proximity of Aldi. I would suggest a small parade of shops to replace the Aldi could help.Tipu from Streathamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08475604621092314070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3199919321583468611.post-47048122999178765352022-09-24T20:30:38.837+01:002022-09-24T20:30:38.837+01:00Ohh no really.

Oh dear what a shame! (Knew it was earmarked for closure but didn't think it would be so soon) I do my weekly shopping here as I only live 10 minutes walk away. I don't drive so will have to incur more expense for a taxi to go to another branch. 😢 On the bright side the staff are being transferred to other branches! I'm guessing it's doing ok, but not the huge volume throughput that Aldi aggressively demand. Aldi need to understand that store situated near major arterial roads and motorways or those within earshot of a retail centre are expected to be busier than those situated between Tesco and Asda. The staff at this store, apart from 3, could do with a personality upgrade too. It's not a crime to smile and have a happy demeanor with customers.Mr Tnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3199919321583468611.post-8055541688834165562021-07-14T09:22:18.828+01:002021-07-14T09:22:18.828+01:00I think the location in Eastwood is off putting to...I think the location in Eastwood is off putting to people who don’t live there. The one at Park Street is more popular even though it is smaller, the site maybe more suited to an Asian/EastEuropean based supermarket offering a better selction of food. The day may come when we fall out of love with shopping at Aldi and want a different shopping experince with more choice and a more leisurely shop.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3199919321583468611.post-29583741660833058582021-07-13T21:21:16.951+01:002021-07-13T21:21:16.951+01:00Not enough room for all those these supermarkets! ...Not enough room for all those these supermarkets!
