News: Inditherm selected for leading veterinary centre

An innovative warming system from Rotherham's Inditherm has been installed in a new veterinary centre in the West Midlands.

The Willows Veterinary Centre & Referral Service is a brand new, state of the art facility for treating a range of animals. The purpose-built centre was opened in August 2009 and provides leading edge treatment for patients from all around the UK.

The Willows have equipped their operating theatres and intensive care unit with PetTherm systems, some of them custom made to meet the special needs of some animals.

Recognising the clinical importance of preventing hypothermia in animals,
Inditherm worked closely with the clinicians to ensure all products met the practical needs of the centre and its patients.

Inditherm's CEO, Nick Bettles, said: "It is nice to know that our technology was the system of choice at a centre equipped throughout with the best technology available.

"The promotion of the importance of preventing hypothermia in animals during surgery by such leading veterinary specialists will hopefully lead to an increase in routine warming in veterinary practice."
