News: Rotherham hotel part of £600m makeover

Holiday Inn Rotherham - Sheffield has relaunched, unveiling a new look and feel along with an improved guest experience.

The hotel's upgrade is part of the £600 million global relaunch of the Holiday Inn brand family to create a more contemporary look and feel alongside driving consistent quality across over 3,200 hotels worldwide.

Tracy Tennant, general manager of Holiday Inn Rotherham-Sheffield said: "The market has changed since Holiday Inn first ruled the roadside 50 years ago and, as the world's favourite hotel brand, we need to continue to evolve to respond to the changing needs of today's business and leisure guest."

"Our research showed that our guests want things a certain way; great beds, great showers and fantastic service with a more up-to-date look throughout the hotel. Holiday Inn Rotherham-Sheffield's relaunch is part of this worldwide programme. We're confident our new image will help us exceed the expectations of our guests."

The hotel on West Bawtry Road near J33 of the M1 also offers two suites,10 executive rooms two specially equipped rooms ensure the hotel is accessible for all guests, offering all the amenities expected from Holiday Inn.
