Huthwaite International, the market leading sales training organisation that works with major blue chip companies across the world, has teamed-up with the South Yorkshire Chambers of Commerce to develop a unique Sales Academy.
The Sales Academy is set to start in April and run over a five-week period, taking place at the Huthwaite International's headquarters in Wentworth, Rotherham.
Training includes consultative selling, managing complex sales, negotiating, networking and persuasive presentations and proposals.
Guy Aston, mid-markets director at Huthwaite International, said: "The only way anyone is going to grow their business is through sales. The local Chambers recognise this and approached us with the idea.
"It is a great opportunity for us and we welcome the opportunity to utilise our expertise and experience in this area to bring world class, benchmark training to companies in South Yorkshire.
"We believe that the Sales Academy will build the foundations for the development of a South Yorkshire Sales Association. This will bring together sales people from around the region to discuss best practice and future training needs to boost the industry and help pull South Yorkshire out of the current difficult market conditions.
"The Academy is a unique opportunity for South Yorkshire and one we hope will become a regular feature on the landscape."
