Capita, the UK's leading outsourcing company, turned over its Rotherham contact centre for the recent Children in Need night of fundraising.
More than 150 employees gave up their own time to set up the unit at the customer management site in Dearne Valley and take donations from the public between 6.00pm and midnight.
1,972 calls were taken in total and volunteers included staff from across the business.
Andy Roe, acting managing director for Capita's customer management business, commented: "We are delighted to be supporting Children in Need again this year. We have had a great evening taking calls and I am really proud of the teams' contribution."
In total £63,648 was pledged through Capita's contact centre and the centre was often at maximum capacity, especially after video appeals were broadcast to demonstrate exactly how money was spent.
On the night, people across the UK have come together once again and raised a staggering £26,757,446 for BBC Children in Need. The charity's vision is that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.
The former Ventura call centre at Manvers has supported the charity for over ten years.
Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham played host to BBC Children in Need on the night with activities including 120 singers, recruited from schools across Doncaster, Sheffield and Leeds, performing in front of the Face of Steel.
