
Oracle Training Consultants was the overall winner at the Rotherham Business Awards 2009.
The company, who deliver a variety of training programmes for the hair and beauty industry, claimed the coveted Overall Award at the ceremony, which took place in front of over 500 guests at Magna.
Oracle's overall triumph came in tandem with their successes in the Invest In Skills and Employee Of The Year categories – Oracle's Rotherham Centre Director Carol Watson triumphed in the latter category.
Chris MacCormac, President of the Chamber said: "Once again, the evening was a superb occasion. It was fantastic to see so many companies celebrating their achievements after a difficult economic year and, in Oracle Training Consultants, we have an Overall Award winning business who are a superb example, not only to the region's companies, but all British firms."
The event included the Salute To Business Awards (sponsored by the Rotherham Advertiser) in which Acorn Industrial Services Ltd, the Best Western Elton Hotel and United Multi-Cultural Centre were honoured for 25 years' trading in Rotherham, while Lilleker Bros and Westfield Health were lauded for 90 years' business in the town.
