News: MGB Plastics selected in suppliers framework
Rotherham manufacturers, MGB Plastics Limited has been selected for the supply of wheeled bins as part of two large framework agreements in the UK.
The Barbot Hall company has been selected by the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation ("ESPO") and the Central Buying Consortium ("CBC") which together cover purchasing for 24 county councils and city councils in the UK.
The Central Buying Consortium is the largest local authority purchasing consortium in the UK with several local authorities, predominantly in the South East of England.
Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation covers councils and other statutory bodies and charitable organisations and has an annual turnover exceeding £400m.
Conor Sugrue, general manager at MGB Plastics said: "MGB Plastics is delighted to have been selected on the ESPO and CBC framework for the first time. As our wheeled bins are manufactured in the UK, we can provide those local authorities using the ESPO and CBC framework agreement with a quality product and service at competitive prices.
"As this is MGB's first time on ESPO and CBC, we would welcome visits from local authorities to our production facility in Rotherham so that we can show them the production process from start to finish."
MGB has the capacity to manufacture 1.5 million wheeled bins per annum and has already been responsible for the delivery of in excess of four million wheeled bins to households throughout the UK.
