News: Moorhead Savage offers intensive care
Rotherham insolvency practice, Moorhead Savage is offering financial "intensive care" treatment for businesses facing a commercial crisis over the festive period.
Based in RiDO's Moorgate Crofts business centre, the enterprise is headed by licensed insolvency practitioner Paul Moorhead who leads a team offering high quality, professional, impartial and ethical help and debt advice to both companies and individuals.
Paul said: "It is true that a number of small businesses will have struggled through the holiday period, paying staff through the Christmas shutdown and also discovering that some businesses will use the Christmas period as an excuse not to pay outstanding bills.
"For a company already facing a crisis, though, that delay can be critical and with tax bills to be paid by the end of the month, it might seem that insolvency is the only possible action."
Last year, Paul became the only insolvency practitioner in the UK with a PhD in insolvency law. His practice has continued to expand and take on new staff.
Paul added: "The really nice thing about my job is that people come to me thinking they are at the end of the line whereas actually we have a range of options that we can utilise to help people to decide how best to deal with their business and financial problems.
"At Moorhead Savage we pride ourselves on helping businesses to survive and to turn around.
"It's like Intensive Care for business and we will have the course of treatment to help most businesses to continue functioning healthily into the future."
