News: 1925 Club sign up more members as season nears
Hawkins Thompson Ltd, a specialist human resources recruitment consultancy and a HR professional development business has become a Platinum member of Rotherham United's 1925 Club.
The 1925 Club, which now has more than 200 members, will offer a premier networking environment for local businesses. It is set to be the region's most exclusive sport and business club, with world class hospitality facilities at the New York Stadium.
Nigel Hawkins, managing director at Hawkins Thompson said: "The New York Stadium is the biggest thing to happen to the town of Rotherham for decades. We've watched the development of the stadium every day since planning permission was granted and to see the construction develop into the splendour that it is today makes you proud to be a Miller.
"Being able to support Rotherham United in this way is a wonderful honour. Seats have been snapped up by other organisations, businesses and individuals across the town and just 20 Gold seats remain available. Other recent signings include Gastech Installations, Trelleborg, eTec Engineering and Mexborough Car Testing Centre.
Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce has also joined the 1925 Club. The Chamber is also hosting the "Rotherham Means Business" enterprise event at the New York Stadium on Thursday October 4. The event will celebrate the best of Rotherham business by giving local companies the chance to showcase their services and products to attendees as an exhibitor or as a sponsor.
