News: Rotherham builders feel crunch

By

The Star reports that award-winning Rotherham building firm, Chantry Builders has gone into voluntary liquidation. Kimberworth Park-based Chantry Builders was formed 21 years ago and last year it won a prestigious Green Apple Award for the way it converted Swinden House, the headquarters of the National Metals Technology Centre in Rotherham. In the past the company worked alongside Remploy and employed a number of disabled people.
