News: Moorhead Savage launch Inn-Solvency Ale

By

Rotherham insolvency practice Moorhead Savage has joined forces with the Thorne Brewery to launch a new ale in time for the Rotherham Real Ale Festival at Magna next week.

Based in RiDO's Moorgate Crofts business centre, the enterprise is headed by Paul Moorhead who leads a team offering high quality, professional, impartial and ethical help and debt advice to both companies and individuals.

Thorne Brewery is located in the market town of Thorne, near Doncaster, and has been brewing since 2009, supplying a popular line of ales across Yorkshire, Humberside and further afield.

On the new Thorne Brewery Inn-Solvency Ale, Paul Moorhead, a licenced insolvency practitioner with Moorhead Savage, said: "The Rotherham Real Ale Festival is the biggest in the north of England and it seemed like the perfect place to relax and enjoy some informal networking with our friends after a day at work.

"And then when Thorne Brewery said they could actually name an ale in honour of the event we really couldn't say no!"

The Rotherham Real Ale Festival is now in its 20th year and runs at Magna from February 29 to March 3, serving more than 200 real ales and also supporting local charities, including Rotherham Hospice, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, Weston Park Hospital and Magna Trust.

In 2011, the festival moved to the Magna Science and Adventure Centre at Templeborough. It attracted 10,000 visitors and helped to raise more than £35,000 to support local good causes.

Local companies are being given the opportunity to get behind this year's event by putting their company name to a barrel of beer.

Stephen Burns, organiser of the festival, said: "The Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival is a truly unique event that brings together the whole community in order to raise money for local good causes.

"We are calling on local businesses to help us make 2012 - our 20th anniversary - a year to remember."

A range of additional sponsorship packages are available with local companies Acorn Industrial, Beatson Clark, BOC, Cutting & Wear, Moorhead Savage, KP Nuts and S3-ID already signed up as sponsors.
