Human Recruitment, a South Yorkshire recruitment consultancy is marking its third year in business with a free event to kickstart the year for other local enterprises.

The enterprise has offices in RiDO's Moorgate Crofts business centre and at Albion House in Sheffield and an independent and ethical approach to recruitment. The event takes place at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Rotherham and Human founder, Amy Stephenson will be joined by Fiona Lowe, Head of HR, Westfield Health, Julie Robinson founder of Footprints Accountancy and Jill Thomas, President of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director of Future Life Wealth Management.

Focusing on Health, Wealth & Success the event takes place on Friday January 15 from 8am to 10am and is free to attend, although Human is hoping participants will support Human's chosen charities for the year: Rotherham Hospice, Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation and Tomorrows People which provides support to unemployed young people.

The three speakers have helped to inspire Amy as she began her business journey. Born in 2013 in a spare bedroom with a computer and telephone, today Human Recruitment has established itself as one of South Yorkshire's leading recruitment specialists, securing an unprecedented 99% candidate retention record since the company began trading.

2015 proved to be a highly successful year for Human, securing a highly commended award for most promising new business by Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber. The company followed this up by being named as a finalist for excellence in professional services at the Sheffield Business Awards and Human is already setting its sights on further growth in 2016, with plans underway to recruit additional members of staff to the growing business.

As well as devoting time towards helping individuals take the next step on their career path the small team at Human have also invested significantly in supporting the local communities they serve, by helping local charities and good causes, their work has included supporting The Rotherham Hospice's Big Fundraiser, Rotherham District Sunday League as well as getting involved with major events such as the Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival.

Amy Stephenson, founder of Human Recruitment, said: "Launching Human Recruitment has been the biggest challenge of my career to today. I started the business after facing redundancy and equipped with just a small amount of working capital, a computer and an idea the business has grown from there and I'm hoping that 2016 will be our most memorable year to date.

"I wanted to invite others who from the local business community, or those who are considering doing so in the New Year to come along and take part in our special anniversary event. The three individuals which are speaking have all inspired and influenced my business journey to date and as the business starts its third year of trading I felt it was a great opportunity to share some their secrets to success whilst supporting local charities which benefit the communities we serve."

Businesses can book a place at the event on Eventbrite.
