News: Another top business award for Rotherham's AESSEAL
Chris Rea, the chief executive of Rotherham-based AES Engineering has won The Business Leader of the Year Award at the recent Yorkshire Post Business Awards. AES is a world leader in the mechanical sealing industry whose mechanical seals are used in pumps and rotating equipment to prevent liquids and gases from escaping into the environment. The company has 60 branches in 30 countries, employing more than 900 people. In an interview with the newspaper, Mr Rea discussed the start of a £7m investment into a new technology centre in the Rotherham and the innovative products that AES has produced.
