News: Alloys firm invests in Rotherham headquarters


Energy Alloys UK is set for further expansion with the purchase of four new lathes at their Rotherham base. The expanding firm supplies high quality specialist steels and nickel alloys to the oil and gas industry and is targeting new business in the Far East, Middle East, and Eastern Europe. The funding is from Lombard, the asset finance arm of RBS and the business is expecting to boost sales by £6m. The company already provides more than £60m of steel internationally and is a subsidiary of Energy Alloys LLC based in Houston, Texas which has grown to a £300m operation with 350 employees and offices in five countries.
