News: Jobs hope at Rotherham windows factory

Solaglas Windowcare, the Hellaby-based glazing specialist, has unveiled plans to invest millions of pounds into its nationwide operations. Managing director Ian Davy told The Star: "We would expect staff numbers to increase over the next three years. Now the company has merged to create Solaglas Windowcare we are going into growth mode." The French-owned subsidiary was acquired in 2002 and has seen year on year growth since then. The £21m turnover company employs 400 staff at their head office and factory in Hellaby.
