News: New factory for local tool manufacturer

Ernest Bennett (Sheffield) Ltd has gained approval for plans to build a new factory in Dinnington, Rotherham. The company is the largest industrial saw blade manufacturer in the UK, manufacturing and servicing of all types of industrial tungsten carbide tipped circular saw blades and wide bandsaw blades. Plans have been approved for a 2,786 sq m factory on Caxton Way near to the £60m Johnston Press facility on the growing business park. 52 employees are expected to move from their current base in North Anston.
