TWI held a technology event entitled "Advanced Manufacturing for High Performance Applications" at the Innovation Technology Centre in Rotherham this week, attracting representatives from the motorsports, defence, aerospace and marine sectors. Covering high performance engineering subjects including advanced fabrication techniques, composites and adhesives and surface engineering, the event was run in collaboration with the Motorsport Industry Association and the Advanced Manufacturing Park. TWI experts were available for one-to-one clinic sessions and there was a chance to look around TWI's advanced manufacturing research facilities.
