News: Rotherham firm import rock guitar

By

Rotherham firm Xiang Trading have imported a custom designed headstone to commemorate the life of a heavy rocker. Xiang came up with detailed designs for a black granite headstone with an inlaid copy of Stuart 'Snake' Neale's favourite guitar – a Gibson Les Paul. The Rotherham based firm specialises in importing granite and other products from China and the headstone is one of a series which Xiang, run by Brett and Chris Ainsworth, have made - including award-winning monuments in the shape of a Newcastle United football shirt, a half-scale motorcycle and a Ford Transit van door in blue pearl granite. Brett told The Star: "Chinese masons are very highly skilled at carving and reasonably priced too, so special monuments have become affordable."
