News: Connaught buys NECTA

Connaught, one of the UK's leading providers of integrated services to public and private property, has announced the acquisition of two compliance businesses, MSF Ltd and Lowe Group (Holdings) Ltd for a combined net cost, in cash, of £14 million. Lowe, based in Rotherham and trading as Necta Ltd, is an electrical compliance business, providing inspection, testing and training services to major clients in both the private and public sectors. Necta (the National Electrical Certification and Training Alliance) is highly regarded in the sector. The NECTA deal is worth £7.5m. Mark Tincknell, Chairman, commented: "I am delighted to announce the acquisition of these two businesses, which reinforce our position as the integrated compliance partner of choice for public and private sector clients. We expect this market to be a major growth opportunity for Connaught for many years to come."
