News: Calling all entrepreneurs – open event at Matrix @ Dinnington

As Rotherham’s latest business centre for start-ups opens its doors, it hopes to give a helping hand to budding entrepreneurs with an open-day event offering an opportunity to network and get free advice. On Wednesday February 25, between 11am and 2.30pm, Matrix @ Dinnington will be open to anyone who is thinking of setting up a new business and is looking for practical advice on how to get started. It's the fourth of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council’s such purpose-built centres, all run by the council’s regeneration arm, Rotherham Investment & Development Office (RiDO). RiDO enterprise manager Geoff Link said: "This will be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to set up a business to come along, hear our keynote speakers and talk to some experienced people who have already started their own business. "There will also be a chance to discuss anything at all about setting up a business and how to network." Motivational speaker and local business consultant Jean Stewart will be leading the line-up of speakers.
