News: Martek increase presence in Danish shipping market
Martek Marine have entered a collaboration with Danish company Gertsen & Olufsen A/S that will see the Danish maritime specialists represent Martek and it's products in the important Danish maritime market.
Martek Marine, based in Manvers, Rotherham, is the world leader in the field of emissions monitoring in the marine industry, while G&O is a world market leader in vibration compensation and biological treatment of waste water.
To date, Martek Marine has supplied in excess of 100 MariNOx systems globally
"It is no longer a question of whether or not the ships are to reduce their emissions. Rather, it is a question of when and by how much, and eventually how," says Jakob le Fevre, Sales Director at Gertsen & Olufsen.
"We have experienced a growing demand for sustainable solutions from ship owners wanting to be at the forefront rather than having to react to the growing demands from an increasing number of authorities world wide."
