News: French deal for Elite Tooling
Elite Tooling, based in Rotherham, has been acquired by Tivoly, the largest manufacturer of cutting tools in France and the the third largest cutting tool manufacturer in Europe.
Elite Tooling had a turnover in 2008 of €1m, with EBIDTA of 20%. It employs six people at their Masborough Street site. The existing directors and staff will all remain with the company.
Using state of the art CNC machines Elite Tooling is positioned within a niche market, unique within their market segment as an SME fully competent in the design, development and manufacture of highly specialised cutting tools, with a 2-7 day turnaround.
The Tivoly group said that the new member of the group has reinforced its position as a first tier supplier in the Aeronautical industry, and feel that the combination of highest quality with a very short lead time will give them a considerable advantage in this ever more demanding market.
Elite Tooling was established to launch the Perfor product range onto the UK market. Perfor is the High Tech branch of the Tivoly group.
