News: Solaglas Windowcare maintains excellent service levels

By

Rotherham-based window repair and replacement expert Solaglas Windowcare was able to offer its customers an almost 100% operational service during the worst weather the UK has experienced for more than 30 years.

Throughout the adverse weather, the company braved the arctic conditions and managed to maintain its pledge of offering a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year service across the entire country.

Solaglas Windowcare implemented a number of activities to ensure business continuity despite experiencing staff shortages and minor vehicle accidents as a consequence of the severe driving conditions.

A comprehensive communications plan was executed from its Hellaby headquarters, reporting service updates to all stakeholders regarding the weather conditions, road closures, delays and other incidents affecting the company's 325 employees.

Ian Davy, Solaglas Windowcare managing director said: "We always pride ourselves on delivering the best possible service to our customers. I am both pleased and proud of the attitude and conduct of everyone here at Solaglas Windowcare in keeping the company fully operational during the terrible weather."

Vanessa Greatbatch from insurers, the Davies Group said: "At Davies Group, we were able to provide our clients excellent levels of service with the help of our dedicated network of partners including Solaglas Windowcare, who really did go that extra mile to help our customers in their time of need."
