News: Inditherm builds international presence
Based in Manvers, Inditherm's energy efficient polymer technology is used in niche medical products which include the CosyTherm neonatal range. Their systems can warm patients during surgery at the same running cost as a light-bulb.
PT. CV Kharisma Utama was founded in 1987 and will distribute Inditherm's medical products in the Indonesian market. With head office in Jakarta and operations in the West and East regions of Indonesia they offer full national coverage. Kharisma Utama already promotes complementary products in the operating room, neonatal and emergency market sectors and is therefore well placed to succeed with the Inditherm ranges.
Ahmad Matar Medical Trading is part of a group founded in 1990 to serve the Saudi Arabia market. Their head office is now located in Jordan and they will represent Inditherm in both markets. They already have established relationships with all major government hospitals and most large private hospitals and clinics in Saudi Arabia.
Namdarjanan is based in Tehran and will represent Inditherm in the Iranian market. Specialising in critical care areas, Namdarjanan found that Inditherm's product ranges provided an excellent complement to their established medical equipment activities.
They have full national sales coverage and good existing links with the key government and private hospitals. Inditherm's products have already been shown by Namdarjanan at an Iranian medical exhibition and attracted significant interest.
Med-Pro Hungary is based in Budapest and has a team very experienced in medical equipment sales. They have previously sold traditional forced air warming systems and had realised the advantages of Inditherm technology, particularly as they had identified increasing numbers of users looking to change from disposable air warming products. They represent a number of well known brands that complement Inditherm's range in both neonatal and operating room applications.
Nick Bettles, Inditherm CEO, said: "This expansion of our distribution network should help us to drive further growth of our Medical export business.
"The Middle East is of particular interest as all signs are that this region has been least affected by the recession, with sales of medical products still growing."
