News: Showcase your enterprise at Rotherham Means Business 2011
Exhibitors are being encouraged to sign up for Rotherham Means Business 2011, the borough's first business and enterprise event, which will take place on Thursday March 10 2011 at Magna Science Adventure Centre.
The show will combine a major Business to Business and business support exhibition alongside a dedicated Meet the Buyer Zone. The event will also boast an array of inspirational keynote speakers and a full and informative seminar programme, including subjects such as retail, innovation and exporting.
In addition to attracting established businesses the show will include a major section focused on new and start-up businesses. This is a key growth area for Rotherham as evidenced by our recent success as winner of the 2010 Enterprising Britain Competition.
The show offers budding entrepreneurs, SME's and established businesses excellent networking and development opportunities, whilst for exhibitors it offers a great opportunity to promote their products and services to a wide business audience, not just from Rotherham but across the South Yorkshire region and even wider.
John Wainwright, Chairman of Rotherham Enterprise Board said: "2011 is set to be a key year for Rotherham's companies as the economy continues to recover from the recent downturn, and the Rotherham Enterprise Board saw this as the ideal time to hold this new event.
"Exhibiting at Rotherham Means Business 2011 will enable you to promote your business to a wide range of other businesses and visitors from across the region, provide great networking opportunities, and find out how to do business with major public sector buyers.
"Whether you're an established businesses looking for new development and networking opportunities, or a recent start up, then you'll find plenty of useful, worthwhile reasons to exhibit."
At £500 + vat, exhibitor opportunities may be limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
Rotherham Means Business is being organised by Rotherham Enterprise Board, sponsored by AESSeal Ltd, UK Steel Enterprise Ltd, The Source, Rotherham Work & Skills Board, and Business Link Yorkshire.
The project is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
