News: Stafforce starts new term at the University of Sheffield

By

Rotherham-based Stafforce Recruitment, has been selected as one of only three recruitment agencies to supply temporary workers to the University of Sheffield in a three-year deal.

The university has rationalised the use of agencies to source temporary staff in a bid to save money and to ensure confidence in reputable suppliers that offer best protection from new employment legislation.

Lucy Watts, sales and contracts business manager at Stafforce said: "Stafforce has exciting and ambitious plans for the future and I am delighted that we have been appointed as one of only three consultancies to work with the University of Sheffield.

"Traditionally, we have been associated with technical and industrial markets, but this success further strengthens our foothold in the commercial recruitment sector and is the latest in a number of recent wins. It's great news and demonstrates that we are holding our own against some well-known national players."

With headquarters on Percy Street in Rotherham town centre, the business continues to grow and today has over 25 sites across the UK.

It supplies more than 3300 temporary staff a week and works with over 500 employers, including local businesses, Sheffield Forgemasters, Stelrad Ideal and Braiform.

Following the acquisition of Barnsley-based Action 4 Business last year and Relay Recruitment in February, Stafforce continues to develop and innovate at a pace, with the recent launch of Workpays TE Ltd, a private limited company that offers transitional employment opportunities to the long-term unemployed.
