News: HR Events in Rotherham
Rotherham Investment and Development Office (RiDO), the regeneration arm of the council, is hosting a number of events to help Rotherham businesses with important HR issues.
With support from NHS Rotherham's Mind Your Own Business Project, the first event looks at managing absence. The free event takes place on October 13 at 9.30am at Swinden House, Rotherham and will include a presentation by Darrell Johnson from ACAS.
The event will cover One to One Management Skills, looking after your employees, Short and long-term absence, Stress and Mental Health.
A free event on workplace mediation is taking place on November 2, also at 9.30am at Swinden House, Rotherham. It will cover workplace disputes and conflict that can take up valuable time, distracting employees from the job, often resulting in increased absence and turnover, lost productivity, morale and poor working relationships, and stress for managers and other employees.
