News: Quay Plastics expands in Rotherham

By

Rotherham-based building supplies company, Quay Plastics has moved to new premises, following a successful sales year.

The new location in Kaldo Court on the Northfield's development by Henry Boot at Parkgate, is five times the size of the branch's previous address on the Thornhill Industrial Estate. It provides Rotherham trade professionals with an improved service and greater choice of stock.

Quay Plastics, part of the Epwin Group, has been in Rotherham for over ten years and specialise in supplying PVC-u building products to the trade.

Tim Fawcett, general manager at Quay Plastics, said: "Our new premises are very impressive, five times the size of our previous location and in a much more prominent and accessible position.

"The look and feel of the new branch is more appealing for customers and this move will enable us to offer a greater product choice and more competitive prices.

"We recently held an open day to celebrate the move, and the feedback from customers, old and new, was very positive. In times of economic uncertainty, it's refreshing to see a Rotherham business doing well and providing a better service for our trade professionals."

Open to all trade customers, Quay Plastics stocks a wide range of PVC-u building materials from soffits and fascias to conservatory roof systems and composite doors.

In the adjacent unit, trade retailer, Tile Giant, part of the Travis Perkins group, has recently opened.

In August, Sheffield-based land and construction group Henry Boot said that it is waiting on further pre-lets before commencing on the second phase of the development.
