News: Future growth is Assured

By

Plans for the next stage of expansion at Assured Fire and Security have been rolled out at a Vision and Culture Day.

Last year, the Dinnington firm set out a long-term plan that aims to make the company the UK's biggest and best independent national fire and security company within the next five years.

At the heart of the expansion will be a series of nationwide acquisitions that will place Assured firmly at the heart of the fire and security industry.

And at the same time, the company will continue to develop its expanding network of contracts both nationally and internationally.

Managing director Simon Stokes discussed his plans for the next stage in the company's expansion at their Rotherham headquarters.

And leading South Yorkshire business consultant Andy Hanselman helped to explain to the team how creating a great culture through operating in line with the company values and providing excellent customer service will help the vision become a reality.

Simon said: "Our Vision and Culture Day is now established as an important part of our annual calendar.

"This year, in particular, it gave us a chance to bring the whole Assured team together, reflecting the fact that we have a lot of new people and that the workforce is expanding all the time.

"Our plan is still to be the biggest and best independent national fire and security company in the UK by 2016 and that will be achievable through our programme of acquisition.

"We have between five and eight acquisitions planned across the country, strengthening our presence in areas such as London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

"This is an exciting time for us as we develop new business both domestically and overseas and it was a good day to pass on the message of confidence in the future to the whole Assured team."
