News: Inditherm at Arab Health 2012

By

Rotherham company, Inditherm is returning to the United Arab Emirates this month to explore global opportunities and exhibit their unique technology at Arab Health 2012, the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East.

Inditherm products use low voltage carbon polymer technology to provide heat and unlike other forms of heating, there are no hot spots. In addition, their patient warming system ensures that every surgical patient can be warmed at the same running cost as a light-bulb.

The Manvers company has focused more on the medical sector and last year The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) gave their final approval for their innovative medical products. They issued guidance that supports the use of Inditherm patient warming systems for patients undergoing operations which carry risk of inadvertent hypothermia.

Implementing a successful international strategy has also enabled the AIM-listed company to access new markets and build their reputation globally, with particular success across the Middle East, China and Europe.

Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on January 23-26, Arab Health attracts over 70,000 visitors drawn from almost every country in the world, all with one aim of forging new international business connections.

Inditherm Medical has exhibited for the last three years and plans to meet with current distributors, as well as explore new opportunities within regions of the Middle East. Inditherm are also looking for partners in North Africa where they believe they can expand their global reach.

Nick Bettles, CEO at Inditherm, said: "We have seen excellent growth of Inditherm's business in the Middle East over the last year and are looking forward to further progress in 2012.

"The combination of better clinical care and significant cost savings that our technology offers has been well received worldwide and this region is no exception. We look forward to meeting our existing customers and distributors at Arab Health and hope to find business partners for the countries where we are not currently represented.

"Inditherm recently received a Medilink award for export achievement and the contribution from sales in the Middle East was a significant factor in that success."
