News: New appointment at S3 ID following continued business growth
The Eastwood firm, which also has regional offices in Norway and Singapore, has developed a range of specialist hardware and software products that provide real-time personnel location awareness, mustering and access control. They are used in working environments where a major incident would be catastrophic such as oil, gas and petrochemical plants.
Paul Lath (pictured, below) will manage S3 ID's oil and gas RTLS (Real Time Location System) projects including the two large projects announced recently.
S3 ID will supply its technologies to the Statoil Gudrun Personnel Tracking System (PTS) Project via Siemens Norway.
Statoil will use the technology to keep track of personnel working in the Gudrun field, a gas and oil field in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea that is estimated to contain 70 million barrels of oil and 1.7 trillion cubic feet of gas.
S3 ID has also recently supplied 25 of their eLock locking systems for the Australian Gorgon Project via their Perth-based partner, Western Advance.
Gorgon is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource natural gas project in Australia's history.

"We are delighted to welcome Paul to our team and are confident that his industry experience will allow us to further improve delivery of our project commitments."
