News: New director for Assured Fire and Security
Rotherham-based Assured Fire and Security has appointed a new operations director as they continue to grow.
Anne Carter, who lives in Holmfirth, joins the award winning Dinnington firm after gaining almost two decades of experience working with companies protecting both properties and people.
Anne said: "Assured has so much to offer within the fire and security industry and I am excited to be joining it to help in the important next stage of its development.
"This is a company that has a passion for getting it right and always putting the customer first and that is a working culture that appeals to me at every level.
"I have been involved in developing companies in the past so I join the Assured team at just the right time and I feel I will be able to make a genuine difference for the future of the company."
Simon Stokes, managing director at Assured, added: "Anne has just the level of experience I have been looking for, at both director and acquisition level and the fact that she also has operational and commercial experience will make her invaluable.
"She has helped other companies to get to where they want to be and I am confident she will be able to do the same for Assured as we progress our five year national expansion programme."
In 2010, the firm set out a long-term plan that aims to make the company the UK's biggest and best independent national fire and security company within five years.
