News: Beatson Clark wins new contract
Rotherham glass manufacturer, Beatson Clark has secured a contract to supply Bramble Foods as they launch a new Farmer's Harvest range of jams and condiments.
The family-owned Leicestershire-based food company launched its new range at Food & Drink Expo at the Birmingham NEC in March 2012.
The jams, chutneys and marmalades come in Beatson Clark's 370ml white flint fruit chutney jar with a standard twist-off 63mm neck finish. The tall glass jar and gingham printed closure give the product a traditional, country style.
Tony Foster, director at Bramble Foods, said: "We've been a customer of Beatson Clark for two years now and their service is first-class.
"The jar stands out very well on shelf and offers extremely good value. We launched the Farmer's Harvest range at Food & Drink Expo and we've had an excellent response."
Charlotte Taylor, marketing manager at Beatson Clark, added: "We have a wide variety of standard shapes and sizes to choose from in our general sale range, and many are available from stock and can be delivered immediately.
"Glass continues to be a first-choice packaging option for many manufacturers as it is a high-quality material which can be endlessly recycled.
"What's more, choosing a product from our general sale range is a very cost-effective option."
The Greasborough Road company has an extensive general sale range that includes more than 60 products for the food sector as well as a wide selection of pharmaceutical and beverage products.
