News: Rotherham College helping to up-skill engineers
Rotherham College of Arts and Technology (RCAT) is hosting a free event next week for engineers and businesses interested in Higher Education qualifications.
RCAT works in partnership with local universities to provide HNC, HND or a foundation degrees suited to local manufacturing and engineering companies. They can also be tailored the specific business needs.
Dave Doran, head of mechanical and electrical engineering at RCAT, said: "This event will be a good opportunity for any business within the engineering sector who is looking to develop members of their workforce up to the Higher Education level.
"There are a number of courses available and there will be staff available throughout the evening who can offer advice on how to move forward."
The event, at the college's £7m Wentworth Building in the town centre, takes place on Thursday, May 31, 6pm to 7:30pm.
