News: More firms join 1925 Club
Two more companies have joined Rotherham United's 1925 Club to take advantage of the corporate hospitality facilities at the New York Stadium.
Rainbow International, experts in disaster recovery, and Sheffield based taxi, airport shuttle and limousine firm Active Transport have both signed up to enjoy exclusive dining, bar and lounge facilities, VIP parking and the opportunity to forge new business relationships.
Zahoor Ahmad, managing director of Rainbow International's local franchise on Meadowbank Road, said: "Joining the 1925 Club is an exciting move for my business and I am looking forward to taking advantage of our Platinum membership.
"The New York Stadium is fantastic and it will be a unique experience to watch the Millers from the best seats in such a terrific venue.
"I was attracted to the 1925 Club by the opportunities it provides our business. As well as the opportunity to network with companies from across South Yorkshire we can entertain clients and customers in a luxury setting."
Mark Willis, from Rotherham United's corporate sales team, added: “The 1925 Club will be the place to do business in Rotherham, as shown by the number of new members signing up. Our chairman, Tony Stewart, has made the generous gesture of freezing prices until 2017 so the 1925 Club offers unbelievable value.
"Businesses interested in joining the 1925 Club should do so soon because only a small number of seats are left."
After sell-outs for the first two home games of the season the Millers commercial team have seen a surge in sales for the next two league matches against Torquay and Rochdale.
Mark Hitchens, head of commercial at Rotherham United, said: "We have had a fantastic uptake for packages against Burton and Bradford and this looks set to continue for the next two games.
"The early signs have been good but we still have some packages remaining for the next two games to watch the Millers at New York from the best seats in the house."
