News: Big projects for Ron Hull Jnr

By

When your "old iron" is just a bit too big for the rag and bone scrap man, contact Rotherham recycling experts, Ron Hull Jnr Ltd.

The Mangham Road-based operation has completed some of their biggest projects over recent months.

In August, the recycling division successfully transported a 75 tonne electrical transformer to their Rotherham site, where it was safely dismantled for resale and recovery.

Again using their 120 tonne heavy haulage low loader, the company transported a massive electrical shaft to Rotherham where the parts were removed for resale and all ferrous and non ferrous items were recovered. Huge, 80 tonne heavy lifting cranes were needed to unload the electrical items.
The heavy haulage low loader was out again recently to help transport a large 58 tonne pressure vessel that was used in the petroleum industry. It was delivered directly into the recycling centre and Waste Management Transfer Station at Parkgate.

Last year, the Ron Hull Group, invested around £5m to create a new high-tech reprocessing centre on the Barbot Hall Industrial Estate. The plant processes 100% of the waste received, with the capability to process up to 50 tonnes per hour.
