News: Foundation offers Freespace in Rotherham

By

The Freespace Foundation is providing vital help for start up businesses in Rotherham in the form of free office space for twelve months.

The unique charity is the brainchild of former Evans Easyspace MD, and past Chair of the Business Centre Association, Tom Stokes.

Its first property is Enterprise Court at Manvers where furnished accommodation for new businesses, or those taking their first steps into dedicated offices, is offered rent free for a period of up to one year.

The flexible space is offered with easy-in, easy-out conditions without the cost of rent, rates or landlords service charge. Businesses are just required to make a small contribution towards the cost of heat and light, and take a telecom system.

Tom Stokes, founder of the Freespace Foundation, said: "I'm delighted to introduce the Freespace Foundation. As economic times continue to be challenging it is essential that new businesses are helped and encouraged. If the Foundation can help an organisation get up and running with a solid base to move on after twelve months, then it has been a success.

"We hope to get the Foundation off the ground in South Yorkshire before rolling out in other regions."
