News: Xi Technologies expand into new Rotherham premises
Xi Technologies, a leading supplier of audio visual and IT solutions to the education, health, leisure, retail, and corporate sectors, has expanded into its own 3,000 sq ft premises in Moorgate, Rotherham.
The enterprise provides state of the art interactive touch screens to schools and businesses as replacements for projectors or whiteboards, together with innovative audio visual solutions.
Established in 2009 by entrepreneur Mike Slattery, who received support and mentoring from RiDO (Rotherham Investment Development Office), Xi Technologies has expanded from the Moorgate Crofts business centre next door.
As the company started to grow and expand, Xi Technologies also took advantage of support through RiDO's Soft Landing Zone, which provides research and consultancy services for the identification of new overseas markets. This included exploring opportunities in Germany, which the research showed had potential for future growth.
Xi Technologies has expanded considerably in the past three years, with an impressive client base, which includes schools across the country – with 30 in Rotherham, plus major corporates such as Slimming World and the University of Sheffield.
Mike Slattery, managing director of Xi Technologies, said: "It is great to have our own premises and to have the facilities to be able to expand even further into the education and corporate market.
“We have been able to take on new staff and our new technology centre provides the perfect base for us serve customers across the UK – and further afield. It's a really exciting time for our business."
