News: AMRC wins prestigious award

The Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in Rotherham has collected the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Learning. In the five years since the centre was established by Sheffield University and Boeing on the Advanced Manufacturing Park, tangible benefits have been felt in the regional and national economy, with key orders won for this country and jobs secured on the basis of research-led solutions which make companies more competitive.
