News: Competitiveness Minister visits Rotherham
Competitiveness Minister Stephen Timms MP visited Rotherham recently to launch the UK's Special Metals Forum, an industry initiative aimed at encouraging knowledge transfer, networking and signposting, partnership working and co-operation in the special metals sector. Local firms Outokumpu, Corus Engineering Steels, and Firth Rixson Forgings are supporting the NAMTEC-led initiative. The minister also visited Rotherham's Advanced Manufacturing Park.
