News: Regeneration chief appointed
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council have appointed Karl Battersby as the new Strategic Director of Environment & Development Services. The directorate incorpates RiDO, Streetpride, asset management, planning, transportation, culture and leisure and waste management and is involved in high profile projects including Rotherham Renaissance, the YES! Project and the redevelopment of Manvers. Karl takes on the role from Adam Wilkinson who left the authority to take on the post of Managing Director for Environment and Regeneration at Kent County Council.
