News: Yorkshire Forward to launch new ERDF programme
Regional development agency, Yorkshire Forward is to hold a launch event for the new European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme at Sheffield City Hall on February 15. Agreed at the end of last year, the fund will provide more than £380 million for investment in the region by 2013. South Yorkshire is set for £176m of transitional funding with £60.4 million to support successful enterprise, invested in developing integrated business support for innovative and high-growth businesses, and £36.6 million to go towards developing sustainable communities, aiding South Yorkshire's most deprived areas.
