News: AESSEAL reach final phase of development for £7m Rotherham headquarters

By

Work on the £7 million development of the headquarters of award winning mechanical seal manufacuter, AESSEAL in Rotherham is in the final phase. The investment will provide an additional 30,000 sq ft of production space, a new conference centre and generator building and additional storage. Sheffield architects, Race Cottom have further enhanced the green credentials of the company which began three years ago with the creation of a wildlife habitat on the site. "Living" green roofs will support biodiversity and improve insulation, whilst rainwater will be collected and used in the wetland area. AESSEAL chief executive Gordon Bridge told The Star: "We are delighted to see Race Cottam's plans for this important expansion project coming to fruition. The expansion will greatly enhance our production, testing and conferencing capacity at our Global Technology Centre here in Rotherham."
