News: Four Yorkshire deals for The Horbury Group

Rotherham construction specialist The Horbury Group has successfully clinched four deals across Yorkshire worth a total of more than £1.5m. The most substantial is a £850,000 contract from main contractor Taylor Woodrow for MWS Joinery to provide doors, frames, skirting and bespoke oak staircases for high quality apartments as part of the Hungate development in York. In Sheffield, Titan Ceilings and Horbury Building Systems (HBS) will be working on The Square Phase 2 office development by Carillion in Sheffield city centre in a joint £400,000 deal. In addition, Titan will be working on two major educational developments in South Yorkshire. In Sheffield, they have won a £240,000 contract from Taylor Woodrow to install suspended ceilings throughout the £23m new-look Silverdale School in Bents Green. And in Doncaster, a £160,000 deal from main contractor Norwest Holst Ltd will see Titan provide suspended ceilings in a new secondary school in Mexborough.
