News: TCN select Wimpey for Rotherham development
TCN have chosen the country's largest house builder, Taylor Wimpey to build 200 new homes on a reclaimed pit site in Manvers, Rotherham. The development will be part of the £130 million Waterfront Dearne Valley scheme that secured planning permission in 2006 and will include residential, commercial, retail units and leisure facilities. A planned 471 homes included lakeside apartments and retirement homes will be accompanied by a medical centre, a neighbourhood retail centre, golf course, SAS Radisson Park Inn business hotel and a Marstons family pub/restaurant. The commercial aspect includes an initial phase of 14,000 sq ft of offices and 21,000 sq ft of light industrial hybrid accommodation.
