News: Rotherham hosts latest SPY property forum

Spy, the forum for property professionals in South Yorkshire, is hosting their latest briefing at the ITC on the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham tomorrow morning. The Pro-Sheffield event, "Empty Rates & Tax Implications" will include speakers Peter Kennan of Hawsons Chartered Accountants, and Guy Gilfillan of Lambert Smith Hampton, who will outline the tax implications of the changes to empty property rates and how they will affect South Yorkshire business. Mr Gilfillan said: “This is a subject I’m extremely passionate about. The increase to empty rates is one of the biggest issues facing the property development market at the moment, as well as the economic slowdown."
