By

Law firm Oxley and Coward has appointed Mamoon Chaudhary and Chris Harvey as new partners. Mamoon Chaudhary has been with the Rotherham-based firm for five years having previously worked for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Nabarro Nathanson, and Price Waterhouse Coopers. He becomes a property litigation and dispute resolution partner. Commenting on the appointment, Mamoon said: “I am delighted to realise my ambition of becoming a partner at Oxley & Coward. We now have a great opportunity to further increase the firm’s profile in the community and become the first choice to consult when people encounter unexpected problems in their personal or business lives.” Chris Harvey becomes a partner after just over two year’s service with the Rotherham firm. He is appointed to the position of partner – Commercial Property. Chris is a born and bred Rotherham lad who also has an impressive track record, having previously held positions with HLW, NatWest, and Taylor & Emmet. On his time at the firm, Chris said: "I’m pleased to say that so far it’s working out even better than could have been expected, and the firm goes from strength to strength.”
